Arise week of prayer - Macclesfield

Sunday 8th to Saturday 14th January

There are really exciting prayer initiatives that are being encouraged by Alpha, UCB and the World Prayer Centre for a year of continous prayer in the UK.

We see this as very strategic given the enormous issues that face society, and central and local government. Also, we are desperate for the Lord to revive His UK church and for a new awakening to the gospel to break out.

Arise Cheshire East is an emerging informal prayer movement that longs to see the kingdom of God break out in East Cheshire. We believe that Jesus has the wisdom and solutions to so many of the problems faced in our area. He wants to send his reviving and awakening presence in power.

The prayer event is going to the Congleton area during the first week. It moves next to Macclesfield. You are welcome to pray at these venues:

Sunday 8th January: 7.30pm Introductory prayer evening at Good News Church, Heritage Centre, Roe Street, Macclesfield  

Tuesday 10th January: Calvary Church, Earlsway, Macclesfield - Church open all day for prayer.  8pm Prayer meeting led by Chris Davies

Wednesday 11th January: Calvary Church, Earlsway, Macclesfield 6pm - 7.30pm youth prayer and worship meeting.

Friday 13th January: Elim Church, Parsonage Street, Macclesfield 10am - 2.30pm Church open for  prayer. 

Friday 13th January: Good News Church, Heritage Centre, Macclesfield - 8pm Special house of prayer with a team from the School of Ministry at Catch the Fire Church, Toronto, Canada. Music, worship and prayer in the Holy Spirit.
