Paul and Rowena Entwistle

Paul and Rowena have been elders of the Good News Church since 2004 and were appointed as pastors of the Church in September 2007.

Paul has worked as an environmental health officer specialising in food safety, and health and safety at work. He is now released from over 30 years of public sector experience. Rowena worked previously as a primary school teacher specialising in special educational needs coordination..

They have two grown-up daughters, who have left home to further their studies and careers.

Paul has previously had responsibility for all aspects of worship in the church - principally the Worship Team, Kid's Band, and the related Fellowship Group. He has a big heart for worship.

Paul says:

I have a longing to see a deepening of our church worship and prayer experience of the Lord Jesus Christ that must have its roots in individuals pressing in to a deeper friendship with Him day by day."

Paul has been given a vision for a house of prayer in the Macclesfield as we look to the Lord to impact our town and the nations with the flow of the river of the Spirit of God.
