Watchguard:

Previously I had a fierce temper and anger leading to fighting and beatings. The anger and temper has now gone. I am learning to speak the truth and the children are now my best friends. God is still speaking to me every morning. My relationship with my Mum has been restored

Family Mother:

Before my heart was very sick and confused. I have been released and transformed. When I have problems, I know where to go and what steps to take. I learnt how to forgive. I came back and taught others. All my problems I have given to God. My work is now to relax. I have an overflow of joy. The staff have come together and become one.

Family Mother:

I had a closed heart and kept everything to myself. I heard my Father God saying to me, “I love you, I am your Father, My hands are open for you to run to”. I am now living in the light and not in darkness. I came back and shared everything in my past – without any shame. I am now willing to admit to wrongs and say sorry to world.

Store Keeper:

My growing up was not OK. My Mother died when I was 1 week old. My Father wanted to bury me with my Mother to save the cost of 2 burials because he thought there was no way I could survive. He was persuaded not to and my relationship with him has not been good since then. I grew up with an old lady in the village and then with relatives. I had tremendous hurt and pain towards my family. During the retreat I learnt about God’s fatherheart and forgiveness and forgave my father. After leaving Mto Moyoni I had a dream in which my father rang and wanted to meet, then we had a party together. When I woke up, my father rang and wanted to meet having found my number which he did not know. I went to meet him, told him what he had done and forgave him completely. We then ate food together. On my way back walking, a big man in a 4x4 pajero stopped and offered me a lift because he could see God’s blessing upon me. Now I have love for people.

School Teacher:

I was touched by God’s presence. I felt like a failure in my family growing up. My father was a drunk and there was not much love. I have learnt Father God’s love and family leading to sonship.

I went with a frown and wrinkle on my face which changed. My life changed and I would like to come back with my husband.
